Meeting with Ville Haapasalo

Today we had honour to meet a famous Finnish actor Ville Haapasalo. He is very popular in Russia. Ville has made his career in Russian film production. He told us that he is very busy in filming all over the world. We will wish success in movie industry to Ville!

One of the recent films acted by Ville Haapasalo is Kukushka (Cuckoo). It's an interesting story about world war time in Lappland. Ville Haapasalo played a Finn soldier in the movie, Victor Bychkov had a role of Russian soldier and Anni-Kristiina Juuso acted as Samean woman. All characters are using their own language. Movie is full of beautiful landscape and funny scenes.

The mountain has moved for one season,
to let the sunshine come on  in.

Have a bite of green days,
before the lamp of light goes down.

The whole day the sun doesn´t close its eyes,
the light is winning the night.
The distance between day and night can read from the sky.

The cold is washed away and the rain turns to warmth.
Try the berries of the summer, try the taste of a flower.
Enjoy your journey through the year, but especially of the summer.

Teatr Praktika, Russia: JULY (Performed in Russian with simultaneous interpretation into Finnish) 29-31.8, 18:00, 15/25€ Donky Khot" is a fantasy based on "Don Quixote" by Miguel Cervantes - it's a story about love, hatred, loneliness and death, a humorous and moving performance about a man who is different from everyone else. "Donky Khot" is a mixture of different styles - drama, stage movement, dance, song, shadow theatre, puppet theatre and happening.

The Cow is A delightfully inventive play about a railway guard’s son who begins to discover new meanings of life following the death of his beloved cow.
Cow here – is the guide to the mysterious, adult and big world. Confusion against the secret of life – this is the “child’s” story”.

“July does not seek to present the ‘human side’ of a monster. It is a necessarily fragmentary snapshot of a fractured mind. There is humor in it and tenderness.” Moscow Times

Мы рады представить Вам Творчество Людмилы Яковлевой на нашем вебсайте.

Людмила - врач, кандидат медицинских наук, всю жизнь проработала научным сотрудником в одном из ведущих медицинских учреждений Ленинграда (Центральном научно-исследовательском рентгено-радиологическом институте).

В 1991 году вместе с мужем – ингерманландским финном переехала в Хельсинки. Начался трудный период адаптации в новых условиях, а также осмысление всего прожитого. В то же время Людмила оставалась человеком русской культуры и пристально наблюдала за событиями на родине.

Ей захотелось поделиться своим опытом и поведать о том, с чем сталкивается человек, переместившийся не только из одной страны в другую, но и из одной эпохи, эпохи строительства коммунизма, в эпоху капитализма, или, как часто говорят газетчики, в эпоху скандинавского социализма.

Она рассказывает о том, каково быть безработной, о том, как она выбиралась из депрессии и социального одиночества, а также и о людях, которых я встретила в новой жизни. О трудностях, и о радостях, о счастье и о несчастьях – о том, что называется жизнью.

Печаталась в альманахе "Иные берега" и в микротиражной газете женского клуба YHDESSÄ.

Лично знакомая с Людмилой я должна отметить её харизму, личное обаяние и уникальный стиль настоящей Петербургской дамы.

Сегодня мы начинаем публиковать повесть Людмилы Яковлевой “Райли”.
